Emile Saint-Lot He lived his first years in the heart of the American invasion and the military occupation of Haiti, from 1915 to 1937. Emile Saint-Lot editor, human rights defender, professor of law at the University and chief judge of the civil court. On June 19, 1946, Emile Saint-Lot was elected Senator of West. On 22 November 1946, he became a signatory to the Constitution of Haiti. Later, he acted as signatory of the historic Declaration of Human Rights in Paris with the First Lady of the United States of America, EleanorRoosevelt. Haiti is a founding and permanent member of the United Nations and Senator Saint-Lot was the first UN Ambassador to Haiti and a member of the Security Council. It is his decision-making vote for the independence of Israel, Libya and Somalia, and he has revised the constitution of many more emerging countries.
