In this clip, the fast troop carrier HMAS Sydney arrives with troops and equipment in Vung Tau South Vietnam. US Army Skycrane heavy lift helicopter is used to unload heavy equipment such as trucks. Sydney normally needs to stay only one day in Vung Tau before her return voyage. US Chinook helicopter landing on Sydney to pick up troops. Also at anchor in Vung Tau is HMAS Sydney's escort HMAS Yarra. The Royal Australian Naval College HMAS Creswell at Jervis Bay, NSW, hosts fifty high school students for a week as guests of the RAN. Part of their visit includes time onboard the training ship HMAS Queenborough.
