Image description

This applique block quilt is made up of 28, 14" pattern blocks of sunflower blossoms set in 6 vertical rows; each pair of rows is set along a vertical stripe of green cotton to form three stalks of "Sunflowers". Pattern blocks contain one blossom and two leaves; 5 blocks at the top and bottom have an extra blossom or leaf. The colors include: stalks and leaves of solid green, petals of yellow gold, and seed pods of red and brown plaid.
