Description
In Homer's Odyssey, Calypso keeps the Greek hero on her island Ogygia as he returns from the Trojan War. His son Telemachus and old friend Mentor are shipwrecked on the island as they look for him. Telemachus is entertained by nymphs including Eucharis, with whom he falls in love, but as a dutiful son he has to leave to continue his search.
