Red Army liberates Romania, various scenes from the streets of Bucharest, 1945

Red Army advance, air to air fighter planes in flight, tanks, armored vehicles, column of POWs walked to the East. Liberation of Romania (Rumania) : population, peasants welcome victorious Russian soldier, CU soldier smiling, propaganda, a young Red Army soldier getting his face washed helped by pretty young native girl, with a white towel and a benevolent smile. In liberated villages, the Soviet army soldiers and population happy together interacting, Romanian peasants show their soil, their cattle, CU people wearing traditional everyday costumes, a Romanian woman and a Russian soldier together drawing water from the well. The Red Army continues its advance to Bucharest (August 1944).
