Margaret Arundell (c.1514/15-71) daughter of Lord Edmund Howard and Joyce Culpeper and sister of Queen Katherine Howard (b.1522, executed in 1542); wife of Thomas Arundell (c.1502, executed in 1552), Chancellor of Queen Katherine Parr; the seal displays the arms of the Howard family; Tisbury, Wiltshire was one of the estates formerly owned by Shaftesbury Abbey and acquired, after the Reformation, by Thomas Arundell in 1540; facsimile from the History of Roman Catholic families based on the Lawson manuscript, by Henry Maire, 1887;
