Image description

A food card for the purchase of different foods, taken in November in the war year 1944. Due to the weak economic situation during the war, food and other goods become scarce, resulting in rationing. In order to distribute the goods fairly to the population and to prevent hamster sales, so-called rationing stamps are distributed. The scarce goods such as bread, milk, fuel and clothes are only possible in the shops through the additional distribution of these rationing stamps.
