'Woodpecker' occasional chair with an oak, hardwood and plywood frame, upholstered in wool, designed by Ernest Race, London, 1952. This chair has a hardwood frame with sides made from ¾ inch fabric-covered plywood. The seat and backrest are upholstered with coil springs and latex foam rubber, covered with brown wool fabric. It has four legs of natural polished oak.
